Supporting the Local Community

In line with our Corporate & Social Responsibility Policy, AGZ Group were happy to support Dunrobin Primary School during their recent Careers Day. Scott McHutcheson (Zeus Engineering Operations Director) and Hugh McNeil (Argon Engineering Operations Manager) presented an interesting and informative view of the benefits of a career in Engineering to the pupils. Both received great feedback from the kids and hopefully inspired the next generation of Engineers.

Riding for the Disabled at Oban

A joint project by Aggregate Industries (AI) and Argon Engineering has provided the opportunity for disabled adults and children to experience the joy of horse riding.

We were approached by AI in late 2016 and asked to provide our skills and expertise to assist them with their Care in the Community Programme.

This joint project has resulted in a new two level ramp being fitted and installed at  “Riding for the Disabled”, who are based at Glencrutten riding stables in Oban ,which will allow greater access for wheelchair users.

A big thank you to all the AI and AGZ Group employees who very kindly gave up their free time to make this project happen.
